Quatrième modèle du projet « Portrait de femme » qui vise à prouver que toutes les femmes peuvent être belles sur une photo, voici Marie-Laure, fin quarantaine, sourire craquant dans un visage tout en rondeurs. À en juger par vos commentaires, vous êtes nombreuses à souhaiter bénéficier du même traitement, et bonne nouvelle, nous allons bientôt pouvoir vous offrir ce service! Vous comprendrez toutefois que ces photos ne se réalisent  pas sans de longs préparatifs et un travail minutieux, et qu’il faudra considérer cette session comme un magnifique cadeau à s’offrir (ou se faire offrir?) au même titre qu’une semaine en thalasso ou un traitement esthétique. Fourth model of the « Portrait de femme » project, where we want to prove that every woman can be beautiful on a photo, this is Marie-Laure, in her late forties, contagious smile in a beautiful curvy face. Judging from your comments, there are many of you who want to try this experience, and good news, we will soon be able to offer you this service! But you have to realize that these photos can’t be made without a long preparation and precise work, and you should consider this session as a wonderful gift to yourself, like a week at the Spa or a cosmetic treatment can be. But with everlasting results! More details in a next post.

Sexy Mamie!

Projet « Portrait de femme » – Corrie, avant et après.

Troisième participante à notre projet, Corrie, bientôt 65 ans, active retraitée aux airs d’éternelle jeunesse. La preuve, s’il en faut, que les rides et les cheveux blancs, ça peut être pas mal sexy! À celles (et ceux) qui me posent la question, évidemment que Photoshop est utilisé pour la postproduction des photos. Mais il s’agit ici d’une utilisation parcimonieuse, rien n’est enlevé, seulement les ombres et lumières travaillées pour optimiser l’image. Ce rendu en est principalement un de maquillage, lumière et position du modèle. N’hésitez pas à commenter, questionner et partager!

Le projet se poursuit de plus belle, bientôt les photos de Marie-Laure, fin quarantaine.

Third model for our project, Corrie, soon to be 65, active retired nurse that look like she had bathed in the fountain of youth. Proof, if needed, that wrinkles and white hair can be very sexy! For those who are asking, yes, I am using Photoshop in my postproduction. But I use it in a way that nothing is removed, work being mainly done around lights and shadows to optimize the final result. Most of that look is achieved by makeup, lighting and the body position of the model. Keep commenting, asking and sharing!

Projet « Portrait de femme » Lucille, avant et après.

Deuxième étape de ce projet en cours, je vous présente Lucille, début trentaine. Courageuse maman monoparentale de trois enfants qui vient d’entreprendre un retour aux études, autant dire broue dans l’toupet et pas une seconde pour penser à elle. Nous nous en sommes chargées (notre valeureuse équipe étant composée de ma maquilleuse-coiffeuse-assistante Sylvie Rolland-Provost et de moi même à la direction artistique, photo et traitement de l’image) et trouvons que le résultat est, ma foi, assez époustouflant!

Second stop of this work in progress, this is Lucille, in her young thirties. Brave single mother of three young kids that just has gone back to school, it is an understatement to say that she doesn’t even have a second to look after herself. We took care of that for the photo shoot (our fabulous team of two made of my beauty-fairy;  hair-makeup artist and assistant Sylvie Rolland-Provost and myself at art direction, photo and postproduction) and we find that the results are pretty amazing!
